Thursday two of our Cass Lake Bena teams will be on the road.
First, the wrestling team will be traveling to Royalton. For a wrestling quad. The schedule is pictured below.
Also, the girls basketball team will be traveling to Red Lake County. ONLY JV AND V.

Come see the Middle School Drama Club's production of "What Was That??" A student inspired, teacher written play. It will be Wednesday, January 31st @ 7pm in the Middle School Cafeteria. Tickets are $5.00/person. **If you have a ticket from the postponed date in Dec, it will be honored.
A incredible milestone was hit by a player at CLB! Dominic Staples Fairbanks hit 2,000 career points last night against MIB.

Tonight we have a doubleheader against MIB! It will be a fun matchup for both teams. One change that will be no JV girls game tonight. But here is what the rest of the night will look like.

A reminder to Cass Lake-Bena Families that there is no school for students on Friday January 19 and Monday January 22. We will see you on the 23rd!

Also a schedule change. Cass Lake-Bena GBB will play in Laporte on Feb 1st. The game against Cromwell-Wright on Feb 19th will be canceled.
Save the date for the rewards and recognition celebration of students on the honor roll, who had good attendance, and positive behavior.
Foreign Foods Festival
The CLBS calendar has a "weather make up day" scheduled for January 22. Since we have not yet had to close school, there will be NO SCHOOL on the Monday January 22. If we have any closures due to bad weather or emergencies, we will use the next scheduled make up day.
The bus tomorrow for Perham will leave at 10am.

Congratulations to Jenny Reyes, school board director, for reaching a milestone of 20 years service to the community as school board member. Director Reyes was recognized today at the statewide MSBA Leadership Conference.
Tonight Cass Lake Bena plays @ Blackduck. There is only one JH game.

The game tomorrow Cass Lake Bena vs Fertile-Beltrami is postponed until 2/29/24 due to illness. Practice is still going to be held. If you kid is apart of the HS Boys Basketball and is not feeling well please send them home to rest up.
No HS boys basketball practice tonight. There is still MS boys basketball tonight. Also could be a change in tomorrow's game we should know later today. I will keep people posted.
